Looking to create proper PTR record

I am having some email rejection issues on a new server, which appear to be based on a missing PTR in the DNS setup. Following the instructions at http://ift.tt/1wzriQV, I have a question.



According to the instructions I should enter the server host names and the server name, server1.mydomain.com



However, dig-x shows the following result:

;; ANSWER SECTION:

XXX.XXX.XXX.XX.in-addr.arpa. 21287 IN PTR li111-225.members.hostingcompany.com.



Under that scenario, shouldn't I enter li111-225.members.hostingcompany.com. as the actual PTR record?
